This is the third of an informal trilogy of monographs featuring Greg Girard’s earliest photos. His photographs from Tokyo–Yokosuka 1976–1983, largely unseen since they were first taken, present a pre-Blade Runner, scruffy Tokyo moments before the city exploded into the default ideal of a 21st century metropolis.
